How to Create an Out of Office Message from Your Workspace Calendar If you're going to be out of the office for an extended period of time, you can set up an out of office message in your Workspace calendar. This will automatically send a message to anyone who tries to contact you, letting them know that you're not available. To create an out of office message in your Workspace calendar, follow these steps: Open your Workspace calendar. Click the Settings gear icon in the top right corner. Select Settings. Under the General tab, click Out of office. Select the On checkbox. Enter the start and end dates for your out of office period.
